LSPA Summer Institute

(Baton Rouge, LA.) -- At sixteen students normally have a plan of where they want to go to college, but for few that want their perfect college choice it takes more time like Halle Mahfouz.

 

Mahfouz is a senior at Live Oak High School. She writes for the school website and will be on yearbook this coming year.

 

During the Louisiana Scholastic Press Association (LSPA) Summer Institute, Mahfouz plans to learn basic Journalism skills and expectations.   

 

“I want to see if journalism is what I’m interested in,” Mahfouz said.
